Tips to Promote Your Profile

You have signed up for an account on FilmEmerge and now what?  FilmEmerge.com is the most visited website for the emerging Michigan Film Industry. So how do you leverage that for your benefit? Below are some simple steps to get you started!

1. Create Your Personal Profile Page

  • Log in to your FilmEmerge account.
  • Click on the Listings tab under My Account .
  • Fill out a description of your business or personal profile.
  • Add a profile photo.
  • List your film or commercial credits including IMDb links.
  • Select the directories that you want your profile to be listed in (limit 2 for free accounts).




2. Request to Get Listed in Our Directory 

Your profile is not automatically listed in our directory. You must actually make a request to get listed. From Listings tab under My Account , click on the GET LISTED button to submit your profile page for approval. Normally, we will respond to your request within 24-48 hours.


3. Upload Your Personal News, Events, and Videos

Add news, events, and videos to your profile page from the News, Events, and Videos tabs under My Account .

4. Use Social Media to Promote Your Profile

All profiles on FilmEmerge.com have a personalized URL page link such as: www.FilmEmerge.com/yourname

Get a Twitter account and use it to tweet your profile link to your followers. On your Facebook accout, share your profile link to your friends. This will increase the traffic to your profile and help you to BE SEEN!
